‘Parched’ is not a commentary on the solution to this crisis we’re causing, nor does it preach, glorify, victimize, or strategize. Instead, it sows a seed of thought. It stirs an internal conflict with the self. One hopes for it to sensitize the self and to inspire curiosity in the ownership each one of us takes towards nature and the journey of a waterless existence.
An intensely emotional and theatrical experience, the audience journeys through time and belief through the lens of a central protagonist. One is made to introspect on their values, behavior, and memories.
