Known for its strong traditional and cultural heritage, Karnataka is also the technology hub of modern India. With a history boasting of Emperor Tipu Sultan, the Wodeyars, Princely States, it is also the state which brought in the IT revolution in India. Mayuri amalgamates the history and the future, creating a visually astounding dance sequence. She captures the rich heritage by presenting the state’s dance, culture, art and architecture, textile and clothing, all roped into a storyline which resonates which everyone. The different art forms showcased include folk, classical and contemporary styles, an aerial act and a royal procession.
