Project Brief
Madhur Milan was conceptualised, created and choreographed by Mayuri Upadhya for the occasion of the Reliance Industries’ first lady – Kokilaben Ambani’s – 80th birthday.
Concept
Catering to the needs and sentiments of the country’s top industrialists, Mayuri revisits Indian mythology and tells the story of Lord Krishna’s relationship with three iconic women in his life – his mother Yashoda, his lover Radha, his devotee Meera. With the modern treatment, the musical was created to be a visual spectacle, featuring 104 dancers, live musicians and singers, aerial acts.
